RULES AND GUIDELINES

Competition Format
The TugaZ Tour aims to offer a virtual competition for all levels of cyclists, with podiums similar to those seen in real-life races. This Tour includes 8 stages with one rest day. Each stage has 4 start times to cater to a global audience (10:30 am, 6:15 pm, 7:45 pm, 12:00 am UTC).

Riders from all categories will share the race courses, starting at the same time in separate pens that merge shortly after the start. This setup ensures you can identify your direct competitors before each race begins.
Results
Riders will be ranked using the eGAP method (eGAP is the time difference between your finish time and the winner’s finish time in the same timeslot). Zwift Racing Score categories will be used for accurate rankings. Re-categorization may occur after the first stage.

If a rider races in more than one timezone during the same stage, the best time (iTTs) or best eGap will be the one included in the official results.

Riders must complete both ITTs (Stage 1 and Stage 7) to remain eligible for the GC. They may, however, miss up to two regular stages, with penalties applied for those missed stages. The penalty will be the worst eGAP of the day (from any of the four slots) within their respective category.

The Team Overall Classification will include all categories and all riders, whether registered or not. It will be measured as the team’s average eGap time for each stage. To get a team eGap time, a team must have at least four members per stage. If the team has fewer than four members, the worst eGap for that stage will be assigned to the team. Teams on Zwiftpower will also include non-registered cyclists.
Registration
Please complete the registration form (link). While the event is public on Zwift, only those who complete the registration form will be included in the general classification.

All riders must be also registered on
www.zwiftpower.com.
Equipment
All participants must use a Smart Trainer as their primary power source, such as Elite Suito, Tacx Neo 2T, Wahoo Kickr Core, Zwift Hub, or similar. We recommend listing your equipment in your Zwiftpower profile description.

Cyclists using bikes without power meters (ZPower) are excluded.
Heart rate monitors (HRM) are required.

Power verification may be requested for any athlete, who will have 3 days to submit it or face disqualification. Abnormal performances may lead to event disqualification.

Bikes for each stage should be chosen by the rider according to course details on Zwift Insider.
